Karla recently had the pleasure of participating in the Heartland Cancer Foundation’s Derby-themed fundraising impact event, and what an incredible night it was! As a local business owner of Home Care Partners, in Lincoln, she believes that success isn’t just about what happens inside the walls of their business — it’s about showing up for the people and causes that make this community home. That’s why Karla chooses to take time to give back to nonprofit organizations that strengthen the place we all love to live.
In 2025, the Heartland Cancer Foundation has budgeted $350,000 to help 350 local patients facing cancer. What makes this support so meaningful is that each recipient can choose the kind of help that matters most to them — whether that’s:
✨ covering mortgage or rent
✨ paying utility bills
✨ fuel for treatment trips
✨ or keeping up with car payments
These are real needs for real neighbors, and Karla is proud to stand with others who are helping make a difference.
